Mission Statement:
Promote the agricultural industry through dissemination of information in an effort to educate the general public of the economic impact agriculture has in the Guadalupe County area.

1. Support Ag Day for Kids for the fourth graders in Guadalupe County.
   • Provide presenters and workers for the event.
2. Sponsor Agri Feast 2006.
   • Have first planning meeting in October 2005.
   • Implement event in May 2006.
3. Recognize an individual or business in the field of agriculture for outstanding accomplishment.
   • Present award at the Annual Chamber Banquet.
4. Support the Soil Conservation Award banquet.
   • Donate $100
5. Coordinate agriculture organizations within Guadalupe County in the promotion of agriculture to include Guadalupe County Extension Service, Master Gardeners, Farm Bureau, Agri-Food Masters and the Pecan Promotions Committee.
   • Invite organizations to participate in the Chamber's annual Agri Feast.
6. Promote public awareness of the impact of the agricultural industry to the community.
   • Participate in a KWED "Saturday Morning Topic" radio program.
   • Submit articles for publication in area newspapers.
7. Support the development of the Texas Agricultural Heritage and Education Center.
   • Provide information to the Board of Directors concerning the development, goals and objectives of the Center.
   • Provide information to Chamber members and the general public as appropriate.
